How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your InstaAppt account at any time directly from the mobile app. Follow these simple steps:

Open the InstaAppt App
Launch the InstaAppt application on your mobile device and log in to your account.
Navigate to Settings
Tap on the Settings icon in the navigation menu.
Select Delete Account
Scroll down and tap on the Delete Account button.
Confirm Deletion
Read the warning message and tap Delete to confirm your decision.
Account Deleted
Your account will be permanently deleted, and you will be logged out automatically.

⚠️ Important Warning

This action cannot be undone. Once you delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your InstaAppt account, the following information is permanently removed:

  • Personal Information: Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and gender
  • Medical Information: Insurance details and medical preferences
  • Account Credentials: Your username and password
  • Appointment History: All past and scheduled appointments
  • Profile Data: Your profile picture and settings
  • Communication Records: Messages and notifications related to your account

ℹ️ Data Retention

We may retain certain anonymized data for legal compliance, analytics, and system improvement purposes. This data cannot be linked back to you or your account.

Before You Delete

Please consider the following before deleting your account:

Alternative Options

  • Deactivate instead: If you're not ready for permanent deletion, consider logging out and taking a break
  • Update your information: You can modify your personal data in Settings without deleting your account
  • Cancel appointments: Make sure to cancel any upcoming appointments before deletion

What Happens After Deletion

  • You will be immediately logged out of all devices
  • You will no longer be able to access your appointment history
  • Healthcare providers will be notified of your account deletion
  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use InstaAppt again
